Tighter Mobility Restrictions in Santiago On Covid Case Surge

The health Ministry have announced that Santiago’s Metropolitan Region and more than 40 other municipalities nationwide will have stricter mobility restrictions starting Jan. 19 due rising Covid-19 cases.

  • New restrictions allow fewer people at social events in homes and public spaces
  • The government will begin vaccinating health workers with a second booster shot
  • Isolation for those with Covid-19 decreases to 7 days from 10 (All BBG)
