Timeframe For Resumption Of Azeri Exports From Ceyhan Port Unclear

Exports of Azeri oil from Turkey’s port of Ceyhan are still halted and it remains unclear when they will resume, according to a BP Plc spokesperson.

  • On Tuesday BP invoked a force majeure on oil exports from Ceyhan Port. The force majeure could be in place for up to ten days according to CNBC trade sources.
  • Exports were initially scheduled to resume on 8-9 Feb.
