BOND SUMMARY: Today's Asia-Pacific data saw the release of softer than exp.
Australian house price index, alongside the latest RBA meeting minutes, which
reiterated that there is no strong case for a near-term rate adjustment.
- YM last trades +4.0 ticks at 98.55, while XM sits +4.0 ticks at 98.055, with
YM/XM last seen at 48.50. Aussie bond yields are trading 3.3 to 4.0bp lower
across the curve at writing. It is worth noting that today Aussie 3-Year bond
yield briefly tested the water below the RBA cash rate for the first time since
2016. Bills are trading 1-3 ticks higher through the reds.
- T-Notes have edged higher and last trade +0.02 at 122.29, with U.S. 10-Year
cash Tsy yield sitting at 2.596%, while cash yields are trading 0.6 to 1.2bp
lower across the curve. Eurodollar contracts are trading 0.25 ticks lower to 1.0
tick higher through the reds.
- JGB futures have ticked higher after a strong 20-Year JGB auction and last
trade at 152.82, 4 ticks above settlement. Cash yields last seen 1.2bp lower to
0.1bp higher across the curve.
