US TSYS: Tsy futures continue to operate in a tight range on the back of
Monday's holiday shortened session. The cash space has also been rather limited
thus far, after being closed for Labour Day.
- A 10.0K TYZ8 block buyer supported the space in early dealing on Monday, with
the contract finishing near the middle of its narrow range.
- Focus this week will move to U.S. data, with the labour market report, ISM/PMI
surveys & factory orders all due, in addition to Fedspeak from Williams, Mester,
Kaplan, Rosengren, Kashkari & Bullard. Participants will also keep an eye on
bill supply and the corporate issuance space, with some large deals earmarked
for the upcoming week.
- T-Notes last 120.06, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.862%.
