TTF Back Below 100€/MWh On Easing Winter Fears

NATURAL GAS

European gas front month price opened lower and back below 100€/MWh again today as steady supplies and lower demand eases fears of fuel shortages. The weather forecast is showing temperatures above normal into November despite trailing off towards normal at the end of the two week forecast period.

    • TTF NOV 22 down -4.1% at 100€/MWh
  • LNG imports into Europe have dipped slightly lower this week due to warm weather easing demand and with a capacity reduction at Montoir due to maintenance.
  • Norwegian supplies are nominated lower at 307.3mcm/d today due to maintenance at Oseberg and Karsto. Gas transit via Ukraine is unchanged at 42.6mcm/d.
  • Storage levels are holding steady above normal at 93.79%. Germany at 97.73%, Italy at 94.89%, France at 99.77% and Netherlands at 92.02%.
