TTF Eases Back with Healthy Supply and Milder Weather

NATURAL GAS

TTF gas extends the decline to lose the gains seen yesterday. High gas storage and healthy supplies are enough to cover the below normal demand with the latest weather forecast easing back on the previous forecast for cooler weather in NW Europe at the end of the month.

  • LNG supplies are steady at around 440mcm/d as the return of the supplies form Algeria's 4.5mtpa Skikda plant is helping to support flows. The first cargo from the facility in six weeks is heading to Europe following maintenance works during January and early February.
  • The German gas regulator chief today said household, small business and industry gas savings were 17% last week compared with 14% previous week.
    • TTF MAR 23 down -3.1% at 53€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 down -2.5% at 53.93€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -2% at 61.06€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -1.6% at 56.6€/MWh
