US - Japan Yield Differential Still Driving Yen Weaker


{JN}{US} Not the only factor, but the renewed push higher in the US yield spread vs Japan has propelled the Yen to a fresh 20-year low vs USD.

  • Short end Japanese yields are still negative, and 2Y spread is now 277bp in the US's favor, a little off the early May closing high of 283bp.
