US LNG exports to Latin America drop to near two-year low in January according to Platts vessel tracking. 

  • US LNG exports to Latin America and the Caribbean dropped nearly 60% m/m in Jan, with only 10.74 Bcf shipped to the region.
  • Notably, no LNG was exported to Colombia - breaking a 17-month streak. Brazil did not receive any cargoes either.
  • Surging TTF pricing in Europe has been pulling a lot of U.S. cargoes to the region including at least 7 diversions from Asia.
