US Shale Oil Output up 141k in Sep: EIA

Crude output at US shale oil is expected to rise by 141kbpd to 9.049mbpd in September, according to EIA’s monthly Drilling Productivity Report released yesterday.

  • Permian +79k to 5.41mbpd
  • Niobrara +6k to 655k bpd
  • Eagle Ford +26k to 1.23m bpd
  • Bakken +21k to 1.16m bpd
  • Anadarko +6k to 431k bpd
  • They revised the August forecast lower from 9.07mbpd to 8.91mbpd
