US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: - US TSYs rallied from around 0900GMT, but have given back some
of the gains. The 2-year yield trades at 2.567% down from a high of 2.581%,
while the 10-year trades at 2.759% from 2.779%.
- The very long-end of the curve has outperformed with the 30-year yield trading
at 3.033% from 3.064% and the 2s30s spread narrowing to 46.4bps from 49.3bps.
- Inflation breakevens are trading sideways with the 5-year benchmark holding
around 1.535%.
- Euro$ futures have edged lower with the belly of the strip underperforming.
Reds/Greens are 3.5-4.0 ticks lower.
- The dollar has remained on the back foot this morning with the DXY off 0.25%
on the day.
- Next up on the data calendar is the Chicago PMI for December and Pending Home
Sales for November, which are due out later today.
