DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD sits at C$1.3090 in early Asia-Pac dealing after losing
>70 pips yesterday, as the rate dropped on the back of broader USD weakness.
- The pair's move occurred in spite of softer oil prices, which could have
tempered the decline, as WTI prices hit fresh lows on the back of extended
supply concerns and uncertainty around the impact of U.S. sanctions on Iran for
global oil production.
- Bears focus on the 100-DMA at C$1.3078 before targeting the Oct 26 low at
C$1.3069. Meanwhile, bulls eye yesterday's high at C$1.3169 before challenging
Sep 11/10 highs of C$1.3175/98.
- Focus today falls on U.S. & Canadian labour market data.
