DOLLAR-YEN: USD/JPY last sits at Y113.64, 20 pips or so lower, after Monday's
general risk off theme allowed the rate to escape the broader USD strength.
- The risk off theme has extended into early Asia-Pacific trade, with the Nikkei
225 down ~3.4% on the day, lending support to the JPY.
- Bears keep an eye on the Nov 8 lows of Y113.48, a break below would open up
the Nov 7 lows of Y112.95. Meanwhile, bulls look to retake Y114.00 after the
rate failed to hold above figure yesterday.
- Points of note this week include Japanese GDP due Wednesday & BoJ Rinban
operations.
