KOREA: USDKRW is back in the middle of its recent range after touching as low as
1119.20 and as high as 1124.50. The 55-dma sits at 1125.0 and a close above here
would shift the short-term outlook positive.
- The Kospi trades just shy of the 2100 level and the 21-dma, which need to be
overcome to cement the equity rally. The Kosdaq is also struggling to overcome
resistance at the 700 area.
- Rate markets are flat to a touch lower, with the 2-year down 0.6bps on the day
at 1.9125%, keeping US-Korea yield spreads at cycle highs.
