Venezuela Crude to US to Increase 23% in Feb

Chevron is planning to send at least 2.5mbbls of Venezuelan crude to the US in February according to a shipping data from Bloomberg.

  • Chevron’s crude oil output in Venezuela has gradually risen since the start of the year after the US eased sanctions against the country last year.
  • The preliminary loading program suggests exports will increase by 23% in February to 89.3kb/d compared to 72.7kb/d in January. The loading program and shipping data shows 4 cargoes of Hamaca oil and 2 cargoes of Boscan crude.
