ENERGY – What to Watch
- The latest weekly API oil inventory data is due for release today at 16:30 EST ahead of the EIA data tomorrow. Crude oil is currently expected to show another build this week with small draws in both gasoline and distillates.
- The Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference continues today with a host of speakers from across the oil industry.
- Also due today is the Nov22 Brent option expiry against the 19:30BST future close price. Current open interest shows the biggest nearby interest is in the 85$/bbl strike.
