Tsys trading firmer for the most part (Dec 30Y ultra-bond weaker), current levels inside overnight range on moderate volumes (TYZ2>400k).

  • Pick-up in US data midmorning and continued focus on market moving UK headlines after Mon's mini-budget reversal. Bonds extended highs overnight after FT article reported the BoE would pause Gilt sales past current Oct 31 resumption date.
  • Bounce short-lived as rates steadily pared gains after the BOE issued statement the FT article was "inaccurate".
  • Data resumes at 0915ET
    • Industrial Production MoM (-0.2%, 0.1%); Cap-U (80.0%, 80.0%)
    • Manufacturing (SIC) Production (0.1%, 0.2%), followed by
    • NAHB Housing Market Index (46, 43) at 1000ET
    • Net Long-term TIC Flows ($21.4B, --) Total Net ($153.5B, --) at 1600ET
  • Fed Speakers: Atlanta Fed Bostic, mediated virtual discussion, no text at 1400ET; MN Fed Kashkari on economy, moderated Q&A at 1730ET
