- CURRENT SITUATION (CS) expected to tick a touch higher in Nov
- Bloomberg Consensus: -22.3; Prev (Oct): -25.3
- The CS index plummeted to a 114-month low in October, the fourth consecutive
negative reading.
- ECONOMIC SENTIMENT (ES) is forecast to edge higher by 9.8pt which would be the
highest level since May.
- Bloomberg Consensus: -13.0; Prev(Oct): -22.8
- Expectations fell slightly in Oct, dropping to -22.8 after Sep -22.5 reading.
- The timelier Sentix index is in line with market forecasts with the survey
revealing an improvement in the headline index due to solid increases in the
current situation as well as the expectations.
- Nevertheless, other survey evidence signals a subdued outlook for the future.
- Germany's Oct composite PMI notes that expectations weakened to the second
lowest since November 2012.
