Zloty Claws Back Early Losses, Morawiecki Delivers Policy Speech

EUR/PLN has been struggling for a clear direction and last changes hands -55 pips at 4.3318, with the pair unwinding its earlier gains. Bears need a dip through Dec 5 low of 4.3163 before setting their sights on Mar 4, 2020 low of 4.2870. On the flip side, bulls look for recovery above the 20-EMA at 4.3590.

  • Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has just finished delivering his policy speech. The lower house will now discuss his statement before the vote of confidence expected around 14:00GMT/15:00CET, which should mark the end of Morawiecki's efforts to form government. Onet reports that Civic Coalition lawmakers have been instructed not to ask questions to Morawiecki in order to facilitate the process.
  • Looking ahead, the NBP will release October current account balance on Thursday, with Statistics Poland set to publish final November CPI readings on Friday.
