AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: 10-Year futures were unchanged at 97.085, as cash yielded 2.924%,
up 0.3bp, while 3-Year futures were half a tick lower at 97.835, as cash yielded
2.128%, up 0.9bp.
- A solid enough domestic 3-Year auction coupled with limited buying in US paper
helped the space higher in the earlier part of the session, although trade was
relatively listless as RBA Governor Lowe offered no fresh insight in his latest
speech, with the short end end also failing to produce any notable moves.
- The AU/US 10-Year spread continues to operate just above 0, while the domestic
3-/10-Year curve hovers just under 80bp.
