World Economic Forum (WEF) President Borge Brende has confirmedthat more than 60 world leaders will attend the upcoming meeting in Davos, Switzerland, running from 15-19 Jan. This year's Davos meeting is likely to be dominated by geopolitical concerns amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, highly elevated tensions in the Middle East, and an election calendar that will see some of the world's largest markets and most populous nations go to the ballot box.

  • Leaders and senior figures set to attend include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, French President Emmanuel Macron, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Argentinian President Javier Milei, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan , and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Colombian President Gustavo Petro, Thai PM Srettha Thavisin, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and ECB President Christine Lagarde.
