DOLLAR: A flat session for the USD overnight with Brexit headlines dominating
price action. The DXY settled in a very narrow 97.01-17 range with bulls taking
confidence in the hold above 97. Focus remains on the topside and the Nov 12
high of 97.69, above here opens a run towards the 98.00 level which holds the
61.8% retracement of 103.82-88.54. Gold has managed to consolidate above broken
channel base support, which comes in today at $1200.31. The yellow metal last
trades $1203.49 with bulls looking to recover the 100-dma at $1214.47 to change
the short-term outlook. Early reminder that tomorrow is the next SOMA redemption
day which normally sees USD demand.
