MARKET TALK
MARKET TALK: A light risk-off feel at the electronic re-open with e-minis edging
lower, while the USD registers marginal gains vs. its G10 FX peers. Tensions on
the Korean peninsula headlining for now, after equities shook off worries
surrounding the Korean situation, Sino-Indian tensions, school closures/a state
of higher COVID-19 alert in Beijing and upticks in COVID-19 cases in some U.S.
states on Tuesday. The resilience in equities came on the back of the latest
moves from the Fed (late Tuesday), hopes re: a U.S. infrastructure plan, much
stronger than expected M/M U.S. retail sales data (albeit from a low base) and
some positive developments on the COVID-19 treatment front.
