EGB SUMMARY
EGB SUMMARY: A mix range bound session for EGB's.
-A fair amount of random moves across asset during our London morning session.
-We saw small decoupling between FX, Govies and Equities.
-EGBs were led lower by the UK curve with Gilts moving lower and better offered
today.
-Boris Johnson and Leo Varadkar will meet at an undisclosed Merseyside location
at lunchtime today. It's a closed-door, no-media summit a last chance to unblock
Brexit talks at a political level before next week's EU summit.
-Focus across the EGBs, global Govies and across all Assets is firmly on Brexit
and US-China trade war.
- Bunds are hovering near today's low in thin liquidity with most desk really
only noting little conviction on market direction.
-Looking ahead on the calendar sees the US CPI release.
- Bund futures are down -0.59 today at 173.46 with BTP futures down -0.51 at
144.68 and OAT futures down -0.57 at 169.54.
