A quiet Asia-Pacific session for German.......>

BUNDS
BUNDS: A quiet Asia-Pacific session for German fixed income futures thus far,
trading lower at writing. Bunds last deal 19 ticks lower, Bobls trade 4.0 ticks
lower & Schatz trade 1.0 tick lower.
- Space likely reacting to the strong Wall St. rally observed Wednesday, which
came on the back of a tumultuous Christmas Eve for U.S. stocks.
- Worth noting that EU budget commissioner Oettinger has told Funke Media Group
that "we will tolerate a national budget deficit higher than three percent as a
one-time exception. However, it must not continue beyond 2019," following the
recent protests in France.
- Looking ahead, German CPI data will hit on Friday, with familiar matters
(Brexit & Italy) remaining in focus.
