Adnoc Crude Capacity at 4.65m b/d: Argus

Abu Dhabi’s state owned Adnoc has a crude production capacity of 4.65m b/d, according to Argus.

  • Adnoc has a target of 5m b/d of production by 2027. The initial target was 2030. But that was brought forward.
  • The UAE won’t seek a higher OPEC+ production baseline before 2025 despite increasing its production capacity its Energy Minister Souhail al-Mazrouei said to reporters this week.
  • The UAE had sought a higher Opec+ output quota and in June received an upward revision for 2024 to 3.219m b/d, compared to 3.019mn b/d under the Oct 2022 deal.
  • Adnoc is responsible for almost all the UAE’s production.
