- Asian stocks closed lower, with Japan's NIKKEI down 132.61 pts or -0.58% at
22751.61 and the TOPIX down 9.78 pts or -0.62% at 1572.96. China's SHANGHAI
closed up 12.269 pts or +0.37% at 3333.164 and the HANG SENG ended 577.72 pts
lower or -2.25% at 25057.94
- European equities are moving lower, with the German Dax down 91.5 pts or
-0.69% at 13088.17, FTSE 100 down 52.77 pts or -0.84% at 6213.66, CAC 40 down
57.67 pts or -1.13% at 5042.05 and Euro Stoxx 50 down 40.18 pts or -1.18% at
3366.7.
- U.S. futures are near session lows, with the Dow Jones mini down 188 pts or
-0.7% at 26549, S&P 500 mini down 23 pts or -0.71% at 3231, NASDAQ mini down
62.5 pts or -0.58% at 10800.
