CHINA YUAN
CHINA YUAN: After a strong end to the week USDCNH trades just shy of Friday's
high and broken channel top resistance. The pair is receiving some support from
a Bloomberg sources report noting a US-China trade talk impasse over IP issues.
However, slight weakness in the dollar generally amid a firming of US Tsy
futures is keeping the pair in a sideways trend for now. 
- Despite a slight narrowing of swap spreads between the two countries, the
short end spread remains near multi-year highs, acting as a fundamental headwind
to further yuan gains. 
- Markets await the incoming GDP and associated data due at the top of the hour.
