STOCKS: After Asian indices were generally in the red yesterday with the
exception of the Australian S&P/ASX 200, today has seen a partial reversal.
Equities across the region are higher with the exception of Australia. Rather
than much positive news, there seems to be a lack of negative news driving risk
sentiment higher overnight.
- European stocks are following Asian stocks higher this morning with the German
Dax up 30.51 pts or +0.23% at 13228.36, FTSE 100 up 20.54 pts or +0.28% at
7348.99, CAC 40 up 8.52 pts or +0.14% at 5902.34 and Euro Stoxx 50 up 6.22 pts
or +0.17% at 3703.04.
- US equity futures are marginally higher with the Dow Jones mini up 4 pts or
+0.01% at 27664, S&P 500 mini up 0.5 pts or +0.02% at 3088, NASDAQ mini up 5.25
pts or +0.06% at 8255.
