prorogation attempt, MPs have now voted against having a recess for the
Conservative Party conference.
- The Dec-19 gilt future trades at 133.68, down 16 ticks from Wednesday's close
and 14 ticks off the day's low; L-H: 133.54-133.93.
- Gilts trade mixed with yields holding with in a 2bp intraday range. Cash
yields (Last / 1d chg / L..H): 2Y (0.4439% / -0.7bp / 0.4225%...0.4459%); 5Y
(0.3686% / -0.6bp / 0.3474%...0.3708%); 10Y (0.534% / +0.3bp /
0.5138%...0.5362%); 30Y (0.9607% / +0.1bp / 0.9405%...0.9631%).
- The curve has steepened slightly: 2s10s (7.8bp / 0.7bp / 6.8bp..8.3bp); 2s30s
(50.5bp / 0.2bp / 49.4bp..50.8bp).
- Short sterling futures have broadly rallied with reds & greens outperforming:
W (+ 0.5/2.0 ticks); R (+ 2.0 tick); G (+ 2.0 tick); B (broadly + 0.0/1.0 ticks
higher).
