EGB SUMMARY: After quiet trading through the All Saints Day holiday, EGBs are
following USTs and gilts lower into the end of the week.
- This follows a better than expected US employment report with very little
European specific news moving the market. However, we are yet to see EGBs
approach levels seen prior to the FOMC meeting on Wednesday.
- BTP spreads are moving a little wider into the end of the week.
- Bund futures are down -0.34 today at 171.42 with 10y Bund yields up 2.7bp at
-0.382% and Schatz yields up 1.0bp at -0.659%.
- BTP futures are down -0.63 today at 143.84 with 10y yields up 6.4bp at 0.985%
and 2y yields up 2.7bp at -0.196%.
- OAT futures are down -0.45 today at 167.93 with 10y yields up 2.9bp at -0.70%
and 2y yields up 1.3bp at -0.613%.
