Al Zour Issues Fuel Sales Tender For Jul-Dec

Kuwait’s Al Zour refinery has issued a term tender for fuel oil sales for July to December loading for a total volume of 80,000-720,000 tons, trade sources told Reuters.

  • The refinery has offered LSFO with maximum sulphur content of 0.5% for the second half of 2023, in a term tender that closes on 19 June.
  • The first cargo is expected to load between 15-19 July, with volumes of about 100,000 tons.
  • The refinery’s third CDU is expected to ramp up, at the earliest, from July, sources said. Kuwait Petroleum CEO said last month the start up of the third unit was pushed back from June to the end of August.
