  • Canada's Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson took a different tone, noting climate change concerns. Those were partly responsible for the Biden administration cancelling the Keystone XL project
  • Senator Joe Manchin was supportive of more energy trade with Canada during questioning
  • Canada is boosting energy production by 300k barrels/day in near term to help displace Russian supplies
  • Hydro Quebec was also asked whether it could bury part of a proposed new energy line through Maine to help the stalled project get approved
