Algeria’s Arzew LNG Terminal Saw Record Vessel Loading

The Clean Destiny LNG vessel loaded at Algeria’s Arzew LNG export terminal on 15 February, which likely reached a new loading record of 200,000bcm, ICIS LNG Edge data showed.

  • The largest vessels usually loading at the Arzew facility are Sonatrach’s biggest 172,000bcm vessels or occasional FOB loadings on 174,000cbm ships like Shaolin or Amberjack LNG last year.
  • The Clean Destiny vessel is currently out for orders and signals to sail around the Cape of Good Hope, Bloomberg ship tracking showed.
