Algeria’s Crude Exports Fall to 10-Month Low in Feb

Crude and condensate shipments from Algeria fell in January to a 10-month low in Jan, according to Bloomberg.

  • Exports totalled 439k b/d, down 79k b/d on the month, according to Bloomberg.
  • Crude exports were down 14% on the month to 373k b/d, while condensate exports were down 19% to 67k b/d.
  • The fall was driven by a decline in flows to Italy and Spain. Exports to France, usually the largest buyer of Algerian crude, rose on the month to 86k b/d.
  • There have been no shipments from Skikda in the last four months.
