US DATA PREVIEW: Analysts are forecasting September retail sales at +1.9% and
+0.9% ex-auto. Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are anticipated to positively impact
some retail sales, particularly price-driven gasoline station store receipts and
a recovery in auto sales. Restaurants and beverage services, as well as brick
and mortar sales could post losses due to the hurricanes, but those are not
expected to offset the gains.  After the hurricanes, estimates for damaged or
destroyed cars are up to 900k, that coupled with the 14.2m auto sales already
reported for September points to auto sales seeing a significant lift.
