Angola’s Q1 Gas Exports Fell 3.2% YoY


Angola’s gas exports reached 1.1mn tons in the first quarter of this year, down by 3.16% year on year, with countries in Europe, Asia and the US as the main destinations according to the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas.

  • Gas exports fell by 6.67% from the previous quarter.
  • Angola exported 945,240 tons of LNG during Q1, with exports mostly heading to Europe: the UK (36%), France (29%) and the Netherlands (14%).
