Another positive start for the Dollar

  • USD sees another positive start, following the pull back lower in Equities and the move higher in Yields, although so far NOK, GBP, AUD, NZD are closer to flat going into the European Govie session.
  • Nonetheless, overall the Dollar is up across the board against all the Majors for the past 5 days, but it is a different picture looking at the last Month, given that Global Yields tested multi Months, multi Year lows in December.
  • The Yen has lost 2.8% in the past 5 days and is the worst performer in early trade, down 0.29%.
  • USDJPY tested the next resistance noted at 145.31 50-day EMA, but has failed to gain real traction, only managed to print a 145.37 high.
