BUNDS
BUNDS: Another uneventful Asia-Pacific open for German fixed income futures,
with a narrow range observed, and little in the way of notable headline
catalysts to latch onto, with a limited reaction to the latest China-U.S. trade
war developments. Volumes are very low.
- Bunds trade 25 ticks lower at 163.15 as we head towards European hours, Bobls
trade 8 ticks lower at 132.18 and Schatz trade 1.0 tick lower at 11.840.
- Focus continues to fall on familiar matters, with Bunds turning bid Monday on
confirmation that the UK parliament's vote: re: Brexit, scheduled for Tuesday,
was delayed, before the bid faded as U.S. stocks erased their losses heading
into the close.
- Also worth noting that France rolled out tax breaks & wage increases in
response to the recent social unrest, while the EU pointed to a winding down
clock re: Italian budget matters.
