Another very volatile session in the Yen

  • It's been another very volatile session for the Yen overnight, 273 pips range going into the European session, down 1.23%, on the back of the Equity and Yield bounce, as desks unwind some of the recession trades.
  • The safer haven Swiss Franc has pared some of its latest gains, and is the second worst performer, down 0.50%.
  • The RBA kept its rate unchanged as expected, but was leaning on the hawkish side, noting that the underlying Inflation remained too high.
  • AUD was and still is the best performer in G10 against the Dollar, but has faded into the European session with more mixed two way flows in the past few hours in AUDUSD.
