EUROSTOXX 50 traded sharply lower last week as equity markets in general faced a

bearish onslaught. The index has retraced the entire bullish phase that

prevailed between Feb 2016and the Feb high of this year. The focus is now on a

key long-term trendline support area at 2515.25. The trendline is drawn off the

2009 low. A break would add additional weight to an already very bearish

outlook. Yesterday's high of 2883.25 marks initial resistance.
