ARGENTINA: BCRA Analyst Survey Due, President Milei Speaks

  • Economy Minister Caputo said in a post on X yesterday that the country’s official and parallel foreign exchange rates will converge in the coming months. He also said that he expects inflation will continue to fall and that taxes will also decline, while the economy and workers' salaries are expected to recover.
  • Today, President Milei is due to speak at the regional encounter for the Madrid Forum in Buenos Aires at 1400BST(0900ET). Meanwhile, the central bank will release its latest analyst survey later. After that, July IP data and August CPI figures will take the focus next week.
