EU: As highlighted in our 0833BST bullet, the back-and-forth between the EU and
UK is now set to continue into next week. 
- With EU-27 ambassadors unable to make unanimous decision on length of Art. 50
extension (although no dissent on an extension being offered in principle) in
today's meeting, discussions will continue on Monday among the same group (no
emergency Council meeting involving gov't leaders).
- UK's debate over a general election seems to be the main sticking point for
the EU. 
- As such, the decision may be made after the UK parliament's vote on a motion
for a general election. 
- But, without the confirmation of an Art. 50 extension, the likelihood of the
early election being approved is slim. As such, EU-27 may find it more difficult
to make a decision on extension. Repeat ad nauseum.
