Asia Happy To Follow Friday’s Lead

US TSYS

Regional participants have been happy to follow on from Friday’s selling, with the major cash Tsy benchmarks running 1.5-3.5bp cheaper on the day, bear flattening. Note that none of the major cash Tsy benchmarks have breached their Friday peak as of yet.

  • TYU2 operates at the base of its early 0-06+ range, last -0-01+ at 118-02 just above its own Friday trough.
  • There hasn’t been much in the way of meaningful headline flow to digest thus far, leaving momentum/regional reaction at the fore when it comes to today’s early cheapening.
