STOCKS: Asian stocks have largely followed the gains seen in the US on the back
of a shift lower in rate expectations, but the rallies have been much less
impressive.
- The Hang Seng has given back all of its gains on the day even as US equity
futures remain firm. The 26500 level remains intact as support.
- The Nikkei is up 0.6%, back up through its 200dma but losing some steam in
response to renewed yen strength as US yields drop.
- The ASX is up 0.4% after giving back some gains after the hitting the 21-dma.
The double bottom pattern continues to suggest further upside potential.
