At first glance a bit dovish

  • Overall, the Riksbank on a quick first glance is erring on the dovish side with its larger Q2 purchases (even though these are accompanied by slower purchases in H2).
  • Note that these purchases were in line with the MNI Markets team's view but consensus had expected a slightly slower pace.
  • Not too much impact on SEK which had strengthened into the meeting but sold off a little after.
