AUD/EUR: Back Close To YTD Lows, Rising German Yields Weigh

AUD/EUR fell ~1% yesterday, German 2Y Schatz yields rose ~26bps which saw the EUR a relative outperformer yesterday.


  • The pair did not breach 2023 lows, finding support ahead of $0.6169 and finishing dealing a touch below $0.62.
  • The 20-Day EMA has provided resistance, since the cross broke below the measure in mid February.
  • To turn the tide bulls first look to break the 20-Day EMA which currently sits at $0.6283.
  • Bears look to target $0.60, round number support.
