AUD is still the best performer

  • The Dollar remains mostly flat going into and since the European Govie open, the Yen is down 0.12%, and the best performer is the AUD, after the RBA surprised market participants with an unexpected 25bps hike to 3.85%.
  • AUDUSD is back at the 0.6700 handle, where is has traded around for most part of April, albeit in a 0.6806/0.6574 range for that Month.
  • The 2023 low printed in March at 0.6565 has held last week and is still the Key support.
  • Resistance for today, moves down to 0.6725, followed by 0.6759 initially.
