AUD/JPY: Recovery Capped At 20-Day EMA

A recovery off month to date lows has been capped 20-Day EMA (¥95.05) in recent dealing, the pair is a touch lower this morning sitting below the ¥95 handle.

  • AUD/JPY prints at ¥94.75/85, and sits ~1.8% above last week's lows.
  • Bulls first target the 20-Day EMA (¥95.05), from here they can target the high from 5 July (¥96.83) and high from 19 June (¥97.68).
  • On the downside bears target a break of the low from 12 July (¥93.27) which opens the 200-Day EMA (¥92.04).
  • Data-wise the highlight of the week from Australia is the June Employment Report, June National CPI from Japan on Friday is also due.
