AUD/NZD last NZ$1.0592, a touch lower...>

AUSSIE-KIWI
AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD last NZ$1.0592, a touch lower on the day, with Aussie
retail sales due to hit within 45 minutes. This comes after the rate closed 33
pips higher yesterday, despite an initial slip to an intraday low of NZ$1.0546
as AUD initially underperformed on the back of a short statement from China re:
U.S. trade matters, which disappointed markets. AUD subsequently recovered as
CNH crosses broke lower.
- Initial support noted at the 50-DMA at NZ$1.0586, followed by the
aforementioned Jan 10 low. Conversely, bulls look for a clean break above the
psychological NZ$1.0600 level, which capped yesterday's gains, before turning
attention to the 55-DMA at NZ$1.0609.
