AUSSIE-KIWI
AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD last NZ$1.0640, a touch higher on the day. Worth
highlighting the rate knee-jerked to fresh session highs in late NY trade
Thursday, upon the release of a WSJ story claiming that the U.S. is considering
rolling back tariffs on China, which was subsequently denied by the U.S. Tsy.
This came after the pair broke above NZ$1.0600 in Asia-Pacific hours, operating
above the figure for the duration of London & NY trade.
- Bulls look to retake yesterday's peak at NZ$1.0650, which would bring the
100-DMA at NZ$1.0725 into view. Conversely, bears eye yesterday's low of
NZ$1.0574, locked between the 55-DMA at NZ$1.0586 and the 50-DMA at NZ$1.0569.
